Great location by the beach and so close to Abel Tasman Park! the staff was helpful and friendly, plus the complementary cutlery set in the room was a thoughtful touch. the bar next door was also a bonus for drinks and socializing.
The bathroom smelt damp and the fan didn't seem to work well, leaving the room feeling a bit moist and muggy. there was no free wifi, but thankfully we had our own.

The value for money was excellent, with reasonable prices for the accommodations. The attention to detail was evident in the basic amenities provided, such as tea-making facilities and a very handy fridge in the room. The staff was friendly and provided great service, making sure our privacy needs were met with a private bathroom. Additionally, the breakfast served at 7.45am was a convenient start to the day.
The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved.

I recently stayed at a fantastic lodge near the beach and restaurant, and I have to say that the staff at Kaiteri Lodge were simply amazing. They made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. The location couldn't have been better, with the beach just a stone's throw away. The bar staff were friendly and the live music added a delightful touch to the atmosphere. Additionally, the rooms were well-appointed with all necessary amenities, and the communal kitchen was convenient. I also appreciated the attention to cleanliness and the helpful instructions throughout the hostel. I highly recommend this hotel solely because of the exceptional service provided by the staff.
I do recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Best aspects were the clean and comfortable room with good facilities, such as the small fridge and plates. The location was convenient, just metres from the beach and there was easy parking outside. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the two ladies at reception who went out of their way for us. a great choice for a summer break, with fast and cheap wifi and a good pub next door.
Nothing that we didn't like.

The staff provide excellent service and the basic amenities, such as the rooms with two king-size single beds, tea and coffee facilities, and private bathrooms with good-sized bathrooms, make for a comfortable stay. Plus, breakfast is served promptly at 7.45am.

The oceanfront location is picturesque with crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches. the accommodation offers spacious, clean rooms equipped with comfy beds, modern bathrooms, toiletries, and room service. Breakfast is nothing less than sumptuous, comprising freshly brewed coffee, scrumptious pastries, and a range of continental dishes. Leisure facilities include an outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, and tennis court, perfect to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. the hotel staff is efficient, courteous, and ever-smiling, ready to assist with anything.
The common areas could benefit from a revamp to match the plush, modern rooms.

Perfect getaway by the sea, with great restaurants surrounding the place and breathtaking scenic views. The closeness to shuttle services is also commendable, making it easy for anyone looking to explore different parts of the city without too much hassle.
The shared kitchen area is not in the best condition. It can be a bit untidy, and some of the appliances were not functioning well.
